So for each month that Leo has had I have written a blog post documenting his development and this month is no different except for one difference. Today is the first month that I have actually managed to write his update on the exact day so YAY for me.
If you want to read his other month updates you can see them below.
It feels like yesterday that I was having him but it also feels like he’s been here forever and I can’t even imagine my life before him. So three months down the line and it feels like he’s developing at an alarming rate, every single day he is doing something new and astonishing us.
I’m not sure how much he weighs but we are finding out on Tuesday but he finally fits into 0-3 months which is extremely exciting as he’s been in the weird stage of newborn being too small and 0-3 being far far too large.
Leo is such an active baby and his gross motor skills are coming on incredibly. He has now realised that he has hands and feet and will try and hit and rattle toys. Also he constantly has his entire fist in his mouth and he’s really good at closing his hands, even though he can’t open them very well anymore (which is sad for my poor hair because it is always being pulled out in chunks.)
He’s also smiling all of the time, everyone comments on what a happy, happy baby he is and even when he had his injections he was trying to smile a couple of hours later. It was heartbreaking trying to see him be brave. Leo’s also recognising faces now and will smile at people when he see’s them especially in the morning. There’s nothing better than waking up to a smiley baby.
There’s a couple of funny things that he has started such as when he wants attention he will pretend to cry but you can make him laugh so easily so it’s a mixture of laughter and crying and it’s rather amusing. Occasionally when he sneezes he will scream beforehand now which I personally find hilarious.
